Instant Love
Dj Instant Love weaves a rich sonic tapestry bringing the dance floor on a musical magic carpet ride. Dj sets morphing genres into dubbed out deep bass journeys and psychedelic spacey glitchy dubby loop based live pa sets. Instant Love is the most recent project of east Vancouver musician/producer Mark Gabriel (Method Recording, l.s.d.j., July Fourth Toilet), whose first live performance was December 2014 at Intention 15. Since then he has been energizing dance floors at Vancouver house parties as well as Intention 15.5 and Intention 16 sharing the stage with Nils, Raghunath Khe, Emog, SobeyOne, Pyrrha Luna, Dr. Thrillhaus, Willisist, Beatrix the White, Dave Praxis, PhenomeDon, thisissammi, Uncle Willy, ian and many more.

Aerion
The legendary Aerion is a long-time favourite in the Intention community who is currently being researched by the Guiness World Book of records for being one of the longest-playing female DJs in history! Aerion has opened up for the Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Beastie Boys, Bjork, Pantera, and Deli to Dublin, to name a few. Years of DJing/VJing and involvement in festivals such as Shambhala, Diversity, Bonfire, Under the Volcano, Vibe, etc.... and decades of underground parties have shaped and evolved her sound into an eclectic mash up of any and all electronic genres... woven to suit the subtleties of the moment with loving care and passion. Her sound these days has evolved to include a vast range of genres, giving the dance floor what it yearns for in the moment, as her insatiable taste for fresh new sounds feeds her ever changing style.

PrePurity
Started out as a solo electroacoustic project of Vancouver-based music maker Jay Park in 2015, Prepurity's sound is inspired by the natural soundscapes of Pacific Northwest. His subtle use field recordings and textural sounds combined with his unique but familiar sense of melody and harmony generated by live instruments create a sonic experience unlike others.
Prepurity channels sounds in many different forms - as a solo guitarist, as a DJ, as an art collaborator, as an intimate trip-hop trio, or a full ensemble that covers broad spectrum of musical genres including instrumental rock, electronica, ambient, new age, and noise.

SydDel
Syd Del inhabits the West Coast of BC. He is an incarnation of part Lemurian sasquatch and part Pleiadian star child. The sonic combination of these forces gives his music a grounding yet uplifting quality. Mixing folk singer elements with electronic and percussive rhythms, the performance is both delicate and danceable. Playing a unique standup drumkit while singing live, Syd’s live show is visually entertaining and lyrically invoking, conjuring up a combination code for a portal near you.
Throughout Syd’s career as a musician, he has opened for acts such as Chali 2na, K-os, Gordon Grdina, Humans, Trevor Hall, Buckman Coe, and Miss Erica Dee. He has performed at events such as Shambhala (hip hop showcase 2006&2012), Vancouver International Jazz Festival (Main Stage 2012&2013), Temecula Valley International Film Festival, and Blessed Coast Festival to name a few.
Handford
Aaron Handford (HANDFORD) is a musician & producer based on the West Coast of BC. A performer for 25 years, he began playing in rock bands in the 90’s and then transitioned to electronic music in the 2000s during his time on Salt Spring Island, BC. He is a resident DJ at Just Dance; a weekly Vancouver dance event that blends World Music with both eclectic acoustic and electronic rhythms, all in a free-form dance environment.
HANDFORD believes that music can create a sense of wonder and open new dimensions in consciousness not otherwise accessible. Music that is in tune with the dancer promotes the reunification of the mind, body and spirit, which facilitates healing, play, and connection.

From Vancouver Canada, I have been DJ'ing since the early 90's, playing along side notable DJ's from across the globe. Over the past 25 years I have performed at events in the UK, South America, USA, and all over Canada. I have been very fortunate to share the decks with some extremely talented artists including Kerri Chandler, The Funk Hunters, Small Town Djs, SkiiTour, Giom, Jay Tripwire, Tyler "T-Bone" Stadius, Jon Lee, Doza (of the Lawnchair Generals), Neighbour, Czech, Mat the Alien, Andy Clockwork, Woodhead, Wmnstudies, Average Gypsy, Sivz, Bag-O-Beetz, Ryan Wells and many more.
Im best known for my unique blend of various forms of house, diverse sound, creative programming and smooth mixing. I’m a versatile DJ that continues to grow as an artist and always strives to deliver a memorable audio journey, through my mixes and live performances.
Medicine Fox
Medicine Fox is Production Artist, Musician and DJ Shane Wilson. Hailing from the Westcoast of Canada, his music draws inspiration from the ancient shamanic rhythms of Earth's tribal cultures. As a production artist , Medicine Fox began his career as a listener and a supporter in the studio, collaborating on numerous projects, such as Tulku, Air Ananda, Sacred Ground,the Little Wolf Band and Deciduous and released his own material on several different record labels, including NewEarth, Quantum Digits and UMR. As a musician, instruments such as guitar, synths, flutes, and an eclectic variety of percussion shakers and drums find their way into the hands of Medicine Fox.
From years of deep listening and research, Medicine Fox has collected an extensive palette of unique music from all over the world. Sharing these sonic discoveries as a DJ is a passion and a joy for Medicine Fox, who can be seen at regular gatherings in Vancouver and wherever he is called to around the world, with performances in the lush forests of the great northwest at festivals like Intention, Blessed Coast and OneLove to the great outback of Australia at BurningSeed. This year Medicine Fox returns to the stage at Intention bringing a fresh set fusing his choice DJ selections of world music and house with his own original material and instrumentation to take us on a journey to sunrise.

I’m a passionate lover of music. My early musical influences are mainly from my father ( Ed Walter, Grampa Groove) from whom introduced me mainly to would world fusion. As the son of Ed Walter owner of Fandango Farms, that’s inevitably where I learnt to DJ and mainly the only place I’ve performed. My other big influence was from cousin (Blaine Walter, Mr. November) who exposed me to funk, new disco and bangin’ house type stuff. My main focus right now I was introduced to by my wonderful partner Marcia Grieve, which is more spiritual music, like chill music but also with some with pretty heavy bass sounds leaning occasionally into grimy dub step sounds. I tend to move around the BPMs a lot and usually play quite a wide verity of genres in my sets. I like music that incorporates real organic instruments and lots of beautiful vocal with uplifting messages. One of my favorite genres right now is glitchy psy dub. I like to throw a little tribal shit into there too. My sets can be quite meditative, heart opening, close your eyes and dance, or close your eyes and just listen too it; kind of sets.

Dave Praxis
Dave Praxis is an old school BC raver who loves to serve his community by creating sets that inspire dancing and imagination, in the flow of the collective moment on the dance floor. Uplifting psytrance is his bread and butter, but for Summer Intention: Enchanted Forest, his intention is to provide a fun experience for the women (and men) who love bellydancing. Everyone is welcome to wear their bellydancing outfits on the Saturday evening and take a turn dancing on the stage. The set will be driven by deep, powerful baselines combined with middle eastern instruments and singing.

Raghunath Khe
Raghunath's music has the intent of transformation and sacred connection – vibrations shared for healing, for growth, for breaking molds, for spiritual activism, for re-union with source. It is an improvised flow drawing from recordings by other artists, and often incorporating many original sonic layers. He's played a few psy-tech sets in the past couple of years, and have found a fair amount of deep progressive psy and other stuff that he really likes. He fully resonates with the techno-shamanic vision and loves the idea of having a spiritual psy night. Nothing better in the forest than that!
