This New Year, step into the forest and experience Mycelium Magic, a celebration of connection, creativity, and community.
Feel the warmth of cozy, glowing spaces where the forest comes alive around you. Explore workshops, art, and handmade treasures from local artisans. As night falls, the dancefloor comes to life as our talented DJs fill the space with sound and rhythms that will keep you dancing late into the night.
Like the mycelial web that connects every tree and root, our gathering thrives on connection — between people, ideas, music, and nature itself.
Our event is entirely participant and volunteer run, meaning everyone buys a ticket and co-creates this magical experience together. It’s a beautiful, family-friendly environment where we aim to build a transformative space that brings our community closer. Let’s nurture our roots and celebrate the magic that connects us all.
Keep an eye on our Facebook event page for more details.
Tickets
Tickets for Winter Intention 2025 go on sale at 7pm PST on Sun Nov 2nd.The ticket link will be posted before 7pm, here on the website, and on the Facebook event page.
Each ticket includes three nights accommodation, three catered meals per day, and all music, workshops and other entertainment. There are several ticket price tiers available:
- Sustainer Ticket: $550. This is the regular ticket price for the event.
- Abundance Ticket: $650. Help to subsidize the cost for another participant who needs it.
- Subsidized Ticket: $330. This reduced-price ticket is made possible by contributions from community members who are able to pay more.
It is heavily subsidized and intended for those who absolutely need extra financial help in order to attend. A limited number of these tickets are available, and if they run out, there will be a waitlist.
Please do not request a link/subsidy until you are actually ready to buy your ticket. See below for further instructions. - Youth tickets: $100 for ages 5-10, $200 for teens (11-17). Kids under 5 are free.
(There will be an option on the ticket site to pay extra, if you can afford it and would like to help subsidize tickets for others.)
If you need a subsidized ticket:
Email registration[at]intentiongathering[dot]org right after 7pm on Nov 2nd. Any emails with a timestamp before that will be ignored. We will answer the emails in the order that they arrive, until all subsidized tickets are gone. Requesting a subsidized ticket implies that you have the resources to actually purchase the ticket within 48 hours — please don't email registration if you are unable to purchase.
We rely on the integrity of our community members to request a subsidized ticket only when it's truly necessary to afford the event (don't be a jerk!).
How to buy your tickets and register
Step 1: Visit our Ticketstripe page (the link will be posted here before 7pm on Nov 2nd) to buy your ticket(s). You’ll have the option to make an extra donation to help subsidise tickets for those who need it.
Step 2: Fill out the registration form. You need to do this once for each ticket you bought, including child, youth and teen tickets. If you bought a ticket for a friend, you can send them the link and have them fill out the form instead.
Your registration is not complete until you have done BOTH steps: Purchased your ticket(s) AND completed the registration form for each ticket holder.
What about one-night tickets?
A very limited number of one-night tickets may become available closer to the event for CelebratioNight (December 30th). These tickets will cost $150, and are intended for those who are unable to attend the full gathering. But if you can, we invite you to be part of the whole experience, to sink into the rhythm of the forest and music, share meals with new friends, and co-create the magic that unfolds when we spend three intentional days together.
Co-create! Volunteering, music, workshops and artisan market
Co-creation is a core value of Intention: We all come together to make the magic happen. There are many ways to become part of Intention:
- Sign up for volunteer shifts when you register. You could help by welcoming people at the gate, decorating our shared spaces, offering a calm presence at peer support, or helping to make sure we leave the venue as beautiful as it was when we arrived. You can choose which parts of the event you feel called to support. Find our more about our volunteer pods here.
- Want to offer music? Use our DJ application form.
- Facilitate a workshop. Your imagination is the only limit! Apply here.
- Sell something at the Artisan Market? We need someone to organise the market though — so if this is something you're passionate about, mail info[at]intentiongathering[dot]org to volunteer!
Gratitude
We acknowledge we’ll be gathering on the ancestral, unceded territory of the q̓ic̓əy̓ (Katzie) First Nation.
We have tremendous gratitude for this land and everything that it provides, and invite awareness and consideration of how and why the people of the nation of Canada have access to all of its beauty and abundance. We always strive to leave no trace and to protect the land where we gather.
