Summer Intention 2026: Conditions of Entry

Violation of this code of conduct will result in corrective action from the event organizing team up to and including immediate removal from Summer Intention (the “Event”). Criminal acts will be reported to the police.

By purchasing your ticket and attending the event you agree to the following:

Do the admin

  • Government issued photo identification must be presented at the gate for entry. 
  • All tickets are non-refundable and are transferable only in cooperation with the Registration Team.
  • All participants must complete the registration form after ticket purchase.
  • All participants must read and acknowledge these Conditions of Entry and the Release of Liability to attend the Event.

Nurture community

  • We expect all participants to volunteer at least a couple of hours of their time to co-create this event.
  • Respect boundaries. Physical, sexual, or verbal assault will not be tolerated. See the posted Consent Guidelines for further details. 
  • Ask permission before photographing or video recording another attendee. Ask permission again before publishing in any way. There are many reasons why people might not want to be photographed, from professional discretion to experience of stalking to a preference for privacy.
  • Please co-operate and turn down sound when requested by the organizing team or volunteers. Late-night noise can be a source of conflict with our venues and their neighbours.

Stay safe around water

  • OUR INSURANCE DOES NOT COVER ACTIVITIES RELATED TO UNSUPERVISED SWIMMING, INFLATABLES OR TUBING. You are responsible for your own safety.
  • Parents or guardians must supervise children aged 12 and under at all times by keeping the child in sight.  If a child under 7 is swimming the parent must be arms length away.
  • Parents or guardians must monitor teenagers aged 13 to 18 years old at all times by knowing where their child is and what they are doing.

Respect the venue

  • We are collectively responsible for Lazy River’s facilities and equipment. Participants will be responsible for any damages caused by themselves or their dependents.
  • Leave no trace: Place all garbage and recyclables in designated containers. 
  • Use the designated restroom facilities only. The forest and river are NOT available for bathroom use.
  • No pets are allowed at this event.
