An epic participant-organized outdoor celebration of the Summer Solstice. Balancing fire and water, a battle between light and dark, a celebration of brightness and warmth.
This year, we are pleased to announce a move to new land! A large space suitable for our community to put down roots and grow!
☀ On Wednesday and Thursday, set up your tents and enjoy chill summer days in the sun and by the water; featuring workshops with talented local facilitators, and fireside hangouts.
☀ On Thursday Night, Friday and Saturday, keep the fire burning all night and into the morning with some of the best local electronic music talent in the region! All night dancing!

Featuring a variety of mixed-genre, bassy, funky, local DJs and artists who make up the local electronic music community. The tickets and registration page will be online within a few weeks. In the meantime, here's the info about ticket prices:
Low income ticket: (40 available) $100
Regular ticket: $130
Gate $150
If you make a good living and can afford a regular ticket, leave the 40 low income tickets for those who really need them.
Living costs in Vancouver are high! If you feel you need a low income ticket, go for it!
Saturday Pass: $50
The gathering is meant to function as a container, we encourage all participants to attend the entire event. Traditionally, we open the container for one night to allow everyone to experience the event.

☀☼ CO-CREATION ☼☀
All Intention Gathering events are not-for-profit, community driven, and co-created!
Organizers are unpaid, the entire community comes together to create the event, and all participants are required to put in at least one volunteer shift toward making the event happen.
Shifts will be available for vibe patrol, gate, kitchen, setup crew, peer-support, and others.

☀☼ WORKSHOPS ☼☀
This summer gathering is an opportunity for individuals to share skills, magic, and love with the community. Workshops will run during the days Thursday to Saturday.
Community offered workshops include:
-Synthesis and Dance Culture - an Introduction to Ableton Live
-Unlocking Your Creativity
-Empathy and Vulnerability
Resurgence is participant-driven, and workshops are no exception. All participants are welcome to share a workshop on whatever topic they desire. Be ready to engage and participate to your fullest!
So the question is: What do you want to do? Can you bring the supplies for it? Is there something you know that you are open to teaching others? Are you passionate about facilitating a particular conversation? The sky is the limit! Simple or complex. If you think you might want it to happen, bring it!

One of the most fun, memorable, and unique experiences at Intention Gatherings!
This is your chance to share your passions with a community of supportive and encouraging witnesses! Share a song? A dance? A quick theatre performance? Some stand-up comedy? We love it all!!
There are two shows, one that is family friendly... and the Late Night show, where anything goes!
Bring anything you might need and sign up for a passion show spot at the gathering.

Our kitchen volunteers will be making delicious and nutritious meals for all participants from Wednsday afternoon until Sunday afternoon. Meals will be vegetarian, and the kitchen can also accommodate vegan and gluten-free diets.
Please bring your own dishes and cutlery!
Take responsibility for your nourishment needs and feel free to bring your own food and snacks, especially if you have special dietary requirements.
There's a lot of opportunity to help with preparation, cooking, and cleaning, so don't be shy to pitch in! :)

Showcasing local venders, our Tribal Market plans to be bustling with 10-12 unique vendors this year. These artisans will be bringing one of a kind pieces, handcrafted goodies, feathery goodness, and costume pieces galore for your purchase. You’re sure to find a thing or two to compliment your costumes, fill your tummy, or soothe your skin. So plan on bringing SOME CASH to spend on these wonderful creations!

Art & decor are at the very core of Resurgence. They create a fun landscape and visual candy for us to explore and appreciate. If you desire to share your art with the community, please contact decor[at]intentiongathering[dot]org.
BRING YOUR SACRED ITEMS to add to the various altars which will be created throughout the event space.
For this Summer Solstice celebration symbols that are especially pertinent include: solar colors (yellows, oranges, fiery reds, golds), solar symbols (pinwheels, discs, circles), the triumph of darkness over light (after the solstice, days grow shorter), fire and water, night and day, midsummer flowers, fruits and vegetables from your garden, sunflowers, roses, oak trees and acorns, sandalwood, saffron, frankincense, laurel, etc.

Resurgence, the summer gathering of the Intention Gathering community is a not-for-profit, co-creative, and participant-driven event.
We share our personal gifts with one another and strive to learn from the community. It is an opportunity to work together with old friends and new faces to create a safe container for a rich exploration of music, art, personal growth, self-expression, creativity, and community.
