Camp Elphinstone is located near Gibsons on the Sunshine Coast of B.C. - a 5 min drive from Langdale Ferry terminal. Coming from Vancouver, it is a 1/2-hour ferry ride from Horseshoe Bay terminal. See here for the ferry schedules.
By Car: Cost is $54 (+ $16.15 per passenger) to take a vehicle on the ferry round-trip from Horseshoe Bay to Langdale.
By Bus or Bicycle: Cost is $2.85 for Translink + $16.15 per passenger (round trip) to walk on the ferry at Horseshoe Bay. From the Langdale ferry terminal, you can bike (<10mins) or walk (<20 mins) to Camp Elphinstone. We will also have a shuttle bus at the terminal for specific sailings (schedule sent to attendees in your confirmation email). A taxi from the ferry to the camp is appr $10.
By Shuttle: If you do not have a ride, you can ship your gear up separately, walk on to the ferry, and either catch a shuttle or walk to the Camp (20-30 minute walk). Shuttle schedule is here.
Parking On-Site: There is LIMITED Parking on-site. To ensure your parking spot on-site, please purchase a Parking Pass with your ticket. It is $30 for 5 days.
Parking Off-Site: There is parking off-site at the ferry terminal. It is $30 for 5 days. Unload at camp and bring your vehicle back.
