Shuttle Schedule

Dec 28th:

Two shuttles:

People on the 4:20 ferry from Horseshoe Bay will be met at Langdale by the camp shuttle when it lands at 4:50pm (This ferry will guarantee that you make it to dinner)

People on the 5:30 ferry from Horseshoe Bay will be met at Langdale by the camp shuttle when it lands at 6:00pm (If this ferry is late, you might miss dinner!)

Other Ferries

2:10 → 2:50 This gets you there VERY early, you can do this but we might still be a bit disorganized at the gate, and we might ask you to help us with something, as soon as you have found your bed ;-)

7:50 → 8:30 This one lands during opening circle, see below for availability of this shuttle

10:55 → 11:35 Possibly an extra shuttle at this time too, see below for availability of this shuttle

Dec 30th:

Two shuttles:

People on the 7:50 ferry from Horseshoe Bay will be met at Langdale by the camp shuttle when it lands at 8:30pm. We strongly recommend that you come for 8:30pm so that you can join the welcome circle!

People on the 10:55 ferry from Horseshoe Bay will be met at Langdale by the camp shuttle when it lands at 11:35pm.

Dec 31st:

One shuttle:

Leaving Elphinstone at 12:35pm, to meet the 1:05pm departure from Langdale

Jan 1:

One shuttle:

Leaving Elphinstone at 2:45pm, to meet the 3:15pm departure from Langdale

Note: where it says "the camp shuttle", watch for a large passenger van with a YMCA log on it.  They will be near the passenger pickup area at Langdale (close to the bus stop, in the parking lot closest to the bus stop.)  If it is one of our informal shuttles it might not be as easy to tell which vehicle it is, but we will tell you by phone, see below, if you ask.  Our driver will be looking for people standing at the bus stop looking confused!

We are not able to have the camp run more than six shuttles, for budget reasons.  However, if you are planning for sure on being on the 2:10, 7:50 or 10:55pm on the 28th, please email us with as much notice as possible and we will find a volunteer driver from within the Intention community to do an informal shuttle run.  There will be no charge for this (or for the official shuttles).

Similarly, if you have to leave before the shuttle on the 1st, you will have plenty of time to arrange a ride to the ferry (and if you haven't found one by the morning of the 1st, we will help you with an announcement at breakfast)

If you arrive in Langdale later than planned and there is no shuttle and you are stranded, you may call one of the organizers and we will arrange a pickup for you.  Grahame has offered his cell: 778-233-4459, call or text if you need to make arrangements.  As a backup, if you can't reach him, try Fish at 604-442-7792
